Unlocking the Future: Staff Dive into Generative AI at Our Course

On 21 & 22 August 2025, staff participated in the course titled “Effective Use of Generative AI Tools for Productivity Improvement” by Info-Tech Academy. Designed for working professionals with no technical background, the course focused on real-world applications to ensure that every participant walked away with skills they could immediately apply.

Participants learned:

  • Prompt Engineering – How to ask smarter questions to get better answers.

  • Workflow Productivity – Using AI to draft letters, summarise reports, analyse data and even design presentations.

  • Multi-tool Exposure – Hands-on exploration of various AI platforms to discover which best fits their daily tasks.

Not Just Theory — But Hands-On (and Fun!)

This wasn’t your typical classroom session. The course placed strong emphasis on practical, creative learning. Beyond office productivity, participants got to try out the fun side of AI — from generating catchy song lyrics to producing glam-style digital portraits!

Laughter filled the room as staff discovered how these same AI tools could be used not only to streamline work, but also to spark imagination and creativity. It was a refreshing reminder that technology can be both useful and enjoyable.

Fun at Hong Kong Disneyland

No trip to Hong Kong is complete without a visit to Hong Kong Disneyland, and our HR/Admin team made the most of it! Stepping into the magical world of Disney, the team relived childhood memories while exploring themed lands, enjoying thrilling rides, and watching enchanting parades. From Space Mountain to meeting beloved Disney characters, everyone let their inner child out to play. The smiles and joy throughout the day were a testament to how much fun everyone had.

Strengthening Bonds

Beyond the sightseeing and attractions, what made this trip truly special was the camaraderie that developed among the team. Spending time outside of the office allowed everyone to see each other in a new light—whether it was sharing stories over dinner, laughing through a rollercoaster ride, or simply enjoying each other’s company on the flight back. The bonds forged during this trip have already had a positive impact back in the workplace, with stronger collaboration and an even greater sense of unity.

As the team returned from Hong Kong with cherished memories and a renewed sense of connection, it was clear that this trip was not just a fun escape—it was a meaningful experience that will have lasting effects on the way they work and interact. Here's to many more adventures together!
