Staying Active, Staying Well : A Year of Health at APRO
As we approach the close of another eventful year, it’s the perfect time to reflect on how we’ve continued to make health and well-being a priority within the APRO family. From our ever-popular Annual Health Screening to our National Day Walk with a twist, 2025 has truly been a year where we took wellness beyond the workplace and made it fun, social, and meaningful.
Health is Wealth: Our Annual Health Screening
A familiar favourite among staff, our annual health screening once again saw enthusiastic participation across all departments. Whether it was a simple blood pressure check or a full wellness assessment, the event served as a timely reminder of the importance of preventive care.
Many colleagues shared how this yearly initiative helps them stay aware of their health status and encourages them to take proactive steps — from better eating habits to regular exercise. It was heartening to see everyone taking charge of their well-being, proving that when we invest in our health, we invest in our future.
A Fresh Twist to Our National Day Walk
This year’s National Day Walk took on a brand-new flavour by combining fitness, camaraderie, and a little brainpower! Held at the scenic Fort Canning Park, participants embarked on a puzzle hunt adventure that challenged both the body and the mind.
Teams explored the park’s lush trails and historic corners while solving clues and uncovering hidden spots related to Singapore’s rich heritage. The laughter, teamwork, and friendly competition made it a day to remember. Beyond the steps counted and puzzles solved, the event embodied what APRO stands for — unity, spirit, and the joy of staying active together.
Building a Culture of Wellness
Health at APRO goes beyond one-off events — it’s a culture we nurture. Every screening, walk, and wellness initiative is part of our larger goal: to foster a workplace where everyone feels supported to live well and stay well.
As we look ahead, we’ll continue exploring new ways to keep health engaging — whether through creative fitness challenges, mental wellness activities, or new wellness partnerships.
