40 Years of Service

  • As I look back on my 40-year journey with APRO, one thought stands above all: it has truly been a fantastic ride. I never imagined that a job could become such a defining part of my life. But when you find something you genuinely enjoy — when you feel valued, when your work makes a difference, and when walking into the workplace still brings you joy even after decades — it becomes so much more than just a job.

    It becomes family. It becomes purpose. It becomes pride.

    These four decades have shaped the person I am today. The memories, the friendships, the challenges, and the achievements will forever hold a special place in my heart. And although the day will eventually come for me to step away, I know it won’t be easy — because it will mean saying goodbye to a place that has meant so much to me.

    To everyone who has walked this path with me — colleagues past and present, mentors, partners, and friends — thank you for your support, your camaraderie, and your belief in me. You have all been part of this incredible chapter.

    I would also like to express my heartfelt appreciation to the management team, led by Mr. Lee, for your guidance, trust, and unwavering support throughout the years. Every challenge we shared, every milestone we reached, and every moment of laughter along the way has made this journey truly meaningful.

    As APRO celebrates another anniversary, I am filled with gratitude for the role this company has played in my life. Whatever the future holds, I will always carry APRO with me — not only in my memories, but in who I have become.

  • My journey with APRO began in 1995, when I was 41 years old. My very first assignment was at the Issazaki Japanese factory at Kallang Bahru. Starting out as a relief officer, I had the opportunity to work at various locations over the years. These diverse assignments taught me valuable lessons in handling customers and visitors, and helped me grow both professionally and personally.

    I am truly happy and grateful to have been part of the APRO family. Time has flown by, and it's hard to believe that it has already been 30 years. I look back with pride and look forward with hope—eager to embrace many more fulfilling and interesting years ahead with the company.

  • Tonight, we celebrate Mr. Karthik, our Operations Manager, for an outstanding 30 years of dedicated service with APRO.

    Karthik began his journey with us as a Security Supervisor, and through hard work, commitment, and a passion for excellence, he steadily rose through the ranks to his current role as Operations Manager — where he now oversees around 10 clients and a guard force of about 60 - 70 officers.

    With his strong army background, Karthik is well known for his discipline, leadership, and high standards. He leads by example — firm but fair — and consistently motivates his team to perform at their very best. At the same time, he is deeply respected for his care and advocacy for his officers, always looking out for their welfare and rights.

    Beyond work, Karthik is an avid outdoor enthusiast with a true spirit of adventure. He  recently conquered the Annapurna Circuit and Base Camp trek (4,130 metres via Ghorepani Poon Hill) — a remarkable achievements that reflect his endurance and determination.

    Karthik’s 30-year journey with APRO is an inspiring story of loyalty, perseverance, and personal growth. We thank him for his invaluable contributions and unwavering commitment over the years.

25 Years of Service

  • I joined APRO in the year 2000 as a CAMS Operator. Over the past 25 years, I have had the opportunity to grow and work in various positions, including CAMS Supervisor, CAMS In-Charge, Operations Executive, and now as a Security Executive at the APRO Command Centre. Through these roles, I have gained many valuable experiences, and I continue to learn every day.

    In 2020, due to medical reasons, I became physically challenged. It was a difficult period in my life. However, APRO did not give up on me. The company supported me and entrusted me with a position that allowed me to continue contributing meaningfully. For this, I am deeply grateful to APRO Bosses — Mr. Bobby Lee, Mrs. Lee, Mr. Xiao Ping, and Mr. Xiao Wen — for their understanding, kindness, and encouragement.

    As I look back on these 25 years, I am thankful for the opportunities, the trust, and the support I have received. I look forward to continuing my journey with APRO and contributing to the company in every way I can.

  • It is our great privilege to recognize Beng Chuan for his 25 years of dedicated service to APRO.

    Throughout his remarkable journey with us, he has consistently demonstrated professionalism, commitment, and genuine pride in his work. Since joining the organization as an Engineering Manager in 2000, he has played a key role in strengthening our technical and delivery capabilities. His leadership style has always been grounded in collaboration, respect, and a willingness to support others’ growth.

    More recently, Beng Chuan has embraced a new challenge as APRO’s Facilities Manager, where he transitioned seamlessly into a role that required broad operational oversight and attention to detail. He has excelled in ensuring that our company assets and work environments are safe, well-maintained, and conducive to productivity, always approaching each task with practicality, reliability, and a calm, steady presence.

    We are deeply grateful for his contributions and look forward to celebrating many more milestones together.

  • SURESH S/O GOPINADHAN PILLAI has been with APRO for 25 years. During these years, Suresh has consistently shown that he is able to give his best to the company.

    Having joined in July 2000, Suresh starts his career with APRO as a Protection Officer and rose the rank to Chief Security Officer. In his duration, he has led a Team, as dedicated as himself, at the then, 1-Net Singapore and currently at STT Loyang.

    “APRO has offered me my second career and have given me an opportunity to grow. I am truly grateful that I made the right decision in joining APRO back then. In my personal view, I am glad and thankful that I am part of the growing APRO family and looking forward to being able to continue serving with the same dedication.”
