HR/Admin Team Bonding Trip to Hong Kong : A Journey of Fun, Friendship and Discovery
In August 2024, our HR/Admin team embarked on a memorable, self-initiated bonding trip to Hong Kong. What started as a simple getaway quickly transformed into an adventure filled with laughter, excitement, and plenty of unforgettable moments. This trip not only gave the team a chance to unwind but also helped strengthen relationships in a way only a shared experience can.
Exploring the Sights of Hong Kong
From the iconic Victoria Harbour to the bustling streets of Mong Kok, our team embraced everything Hong Kong had to offer. The breathtaking views from Victoria Peak were a highlight for many, providing the perfect backdrop team selfies. Wandering through the vibrant street markets, the team sampled local snacks, shopped for souvenirs, and soaked in the energy of one of Asia's most dynamic cities.
Culinary Delights
One of the key highlights of the trip was the food. The team started each day with hearty breakfasts at Fu Wah Café where they fuelled up on scrumptious egg tarts and polo bun. They also got to try the famous truffle scrambled egg toast from Chrisly Café. Every meal brought the group closer together as they shared their love for good food.
The most memorable meal of the trip was undoubtedly the Dim sum at Crystal Lotus where the team got to enjoy Disney themed dishes, including adorable Disney character shaped buns.
Fun at Hong Kong Disneyland
No trip to Hong Kong is complete without a visit to Hong Kong Disneyland, and our HR/Admin team made the most of it! Stepping into the magical world of Disney, the team relived childhood memories while exploring themed lands, enjoying thrilling rides, and watching enchanting parades. From Space Mountain to meeting beloved Disney characters, everyone let their inner child out to play. The smiles and joy throughout the day were a testament to how much fun everyone had.
Strengthening Bonds
Beyond the sightseeing and attractions, what made this trip truly special was the camaraderie that developed among the team. Spending time outside of the office allowed everyone to see each other in a new light—whether it was sharing stories over dinner, laughing through a rollercoaster ride, or simply enjoying each other’s company on the flight back. The bonds forged during this trip have already had a positive impact back in the workplace, with stronger collaboration and an even greater sense of unity.
